Our battery materials Investment Kuniko (ASX: KNI) has successfully completed its maiden diamond drill programme at the Ertelien Nickel Project in Norway.

KNI observed massive sulphide mineralisation in four of four primary drill holes.

Drilling totalled 1,366.9m with four primary diamond drill holes completed, while a shallow fifth hole terminated to avoid unmapped historic mine workings.

KNI expects the assay results to become available next month.

In addition to the visual mineralisation observed in the recent drilling programme, KNI has selected and cut two additional historic drill holes for modern assay analysis as it works towards its maiden JORC resource booking at the Ertelien project.

Undal-Nyberget Copper Project

Meanwhile, the drill rig from Ertelien has been mobilised to KNI’s Undal-Nyberget Copper Project site and maiden drilling at that project is now underway.

Here, KNI has planned up to 11 holes for 1,000-1,500 metres of drilling over strong geophysical and geochemical targets.

Skuterud Cobalt Project

Further, KNI reports that five drill holes for a total of 1,548.7m have now been completed at its Skuterud Cobalt Project. This is part of a planned 2,500m drilling programme and a sixth hole is now in progress.
