TYX finds more lithium to its east - drilling later this year
Our 2022 Catalyst Hunter Pick Of The Year Tyranna Resources (ASX: TYX) has now extended the footprint of its lithium project in Angola.
Today, TYX put out the results from some of the rock chips collected during its most recent fieldwork.
A total of 18 samples were collected with peak lithium grades from the samples coming back at ~4.24%.
Our key takeaway from the announcement was the 4.24% lithium grades & confirmed spodumene presence sampled at ‘Muvero East’ which sits right next to the company’s existing discovery.
The theory being that the existing discovery could extend out into that eastern area, the image below shows the existing discovery relative to today’s results.
What’s next?
🔄 Rock chip sampling and field work
TYX plans to be back on site running another round of field work in the lead up to drilling.
In the meantime we can expect to see some of the assays come through from the samples taken when the company was last on site - the assays are expected in June.
