GTR airborne geophysics program completed
Our US uranium Investment GTI Energy (ASX: GTR) just finished its airborne geophysical survey across its uranium projects in Wyoming.
At a high level the geophysical surveys are a form of target generation works - working out the best spots to drill in the company’s future exploration programs.
GTR expects the results from the program to be available in September.
GTR also mentioned today that a remediation liability bond was also paid back to the company which means GTR’s cash balance increased by ~$489k.
GTR hasn't put out its June quarterly reports yet but we should get an update on the company’s cash position before Monday next week.
What’s next for GTR?
Permitting for drilling at Lo Herma (late 2023/H2 2024) 🔄
Target generation works at its Wyoming Green Mountain project 🔄
Results from the program are expected in September.
GTR expects to be drilling at Green Mountain toward the end of 2023.
The Green Mountain project shares a border with Rio Tinto and is next to Energy Fuels’ 30 million-pound Sheep Mountain uranium deposit.
