TG1 starts drilling giant WA copper-gold target
Our exploration Investment TechGen Metals (ASX: TG1) just started drilling its biggest copper-gold target in WA.
This will be the first hole ever, testing Three EM conductors sitting across ~2.75km.

The blob in the image above is TG1’s “Blue Devil”:
- 2.75km across sitting on top of another giant geophysical anomaly - combined, it's one of the biggest targets we have ever seen.
- The yellow/red shows where rock conducts electricity (possible copper sulphides)
- The pink/purple shows a big magnetic intrusion underneath (the potential heat engine that made the metals).
- The colourful specks at surface are the rock chips from surface grading 50.5% copper and 18.5g/t gold.

TG1 expects to be hitting target depth this week - so inside the next few weeks we should know if TG1’s made a new major copper-gold discovery or not.

An update on TG1’s first target that was drilled
Before the big Blue Devil target - TG1 put a hole into its Red Devil prospect.
Unfortunately TG1’s announcement from this week did say “no copper mineralisation” was observed in the drill core.
So, visually the core from the hole doesn’t appear to have shown anything that looks worth following up.
But we are hoping the assay results show otherwise (maybe some gold instead of copper - which is less visible in drill core).

What’s next for TG1?
Drill WA copper-gold targets (Blue and Red Devil)
In the short term it's all attention on TG1’s next drill program at Blue Devil.
Given TG1’s drilling with a diamond rig, there is always a chance TG1 announces visuals from the hole (assuming there is anything to announce).
That could be inside the next few weeks - with assays to come after.
