The IOT Group Limited (ASX:IOT) has today informed the market of its appointment of Wooyoung Joo as a member of the IOT Blockchain Advisory Board. Wooyoung Joo has experience in building and managing digital currency mining operations, blockchain start-ups and investment groups.
He is also an experienced miner and investor in cryptocurrencies, with his experience spanning involvement in building and managing various mining operations in China and Europe. Further, Wooyoung has experience handling several transactions and investments in the blockchain start-up scene.
His experience in crypto mining is not contained to investing and basic mining, but comprises the building, deploying and managing of mining facilities in addition to designing mining rigs and sourcing mining equipment — with connections across the Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Earlier this week, IOT announced the appointment of Adam Ritchie as chairman of the Blockchain Advisory Board, and the addition of Chadd Burgess as a new board member.
Chairman of the IOT Blockchain Advisory Board, Adam Ritchie commented on today’s appointment: “I would like to welcome Wooyoung to the Advisory Board of IOT Blockchain. Wooyoung is the young gun of the Blockchain world and is keen to advise IOT Blockchain. Wooyoung will assist me to develop and build on the IOT Blockchain business for the benefit of all IOT Shareholders.”
Wooyoung added: “I am excited to be able to partake in IOT Group’s leap into the Blockchain space, it is a privilege to be a part of a team that I believe has the right mindset and capacity to become the frontrunners of this cutting edge industry.”
