Our exploration Investment Lycaon Resources (ASX: LYN) just completed geophysical surveys at its nickel-copper project in the Halls Creek region of WA.

The results from the helicopter surveys have identified two priority areas of interest where LYN is now considering running ground based EM surveys.

LYN’s exploration work here is largely focused on identifying drill targets that could unearth a discovery similar to the Savannah Nickel Project owned by the ~$300M capped Panoramic Resources.

Ultimately, the results from today’s announcement will be used to rank high priority drill targets that LYN can drill in future exploration programs.

LYN expects to be drilling across its nickel-copper and niobium-rare earths projects this year.

While the primary focus for us is on the niobium-rare earths project targeting a WA1 resources style discovery, we look forward to drill programs across LYN’s nickel-copper projects, as listed in our LYN Investment Memo.
