WA gold miner Empire Resources Ltd (ASX:ERL), on behalf of the Penny’s Find Joint Venture (PFJV), today updated the market on its successfully completed third toll treatment campaign at the Lakewood Mill located on the southern outskirts of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, WA.
The reconciliation after Gold in Circuit (GIC) calculation for the third campaign processed gives a head grade of 6.55g/t gold.
This is an upgrade on the previously announced 6.03g/t on February 28. At that time, 55% of the gold was recovered by gravity, up from 40% during the previous treatment campaign, confirming original testwork that showed an increasing percentage of free gold in the ore as it becomes fresher.
The Joint Venture has produced 152.6 kg or 4906ozs of gold during this third campaign for a realised sum of over $8.5 million. A fourth processing treatment campaign is due to commence in the second week in April 2018.
