Activistic (ASX:ACU) has just signed its twelfth leading US veterans charity to the Veterans Call app.

The charity, Military Officers Association of America Military Family Initiative (MOAA MFI), is the largest military officers’ organisation in the US and is the non-profit arm of MOAA.

MOAA MFI provides support to over 50,000 active duty service members, veterans and their families to maintain and improve their quality of life.

The charity delivers its services through 12 programs including career transition initiatives, disability assistance, reintegration support, spousal support and financial education.

ACU’s Veterans Call app allows philanthropies to re-engage their donor base on a monthly basis in order to acquire ongoing donations.

Through the Veterans Call app, MOAA MFI supporters will be able to donate without having to use credit cards or bank account information.

More importantly the Veterans Call platform sees MOAA MFI receive 85% of the donation amount, compared to the traditional model that averages around 32%, when taking total costs into account. Meaning more of the money donated actually goes to the given charity, with ACU taking only a small portion from each transaction.

Whilst ACU is attracting more clients and users to its platform there is no guarantee of success or that this will translate into an increased share price, so seek professional financial advice if considering ACU for your portfolio.

MOAA MFI will be live on the Veterans Call platform ready to take donations within two-three weeks.

Through the deal, MOAA MFI will promote the Veterans Call app to its 390,000 members on a monthly basis through email subscriptions, member’s magazine that has a circulation of 261,000 and outreach on LinkedIn to their 28,000 members.

With the US government cutting its budget towards providing support to returning soldiers and veterans, organisations like MOAA MFI are needed to assist the troops and their families.
