Our exploration Investment Ragusa Minerals (ASX: RAS) has just hit pegmatitesa across two of its lithium targets in the Northern Territory.

RAS's project sits in the same region as $2Bn Core Lithium's Mount Finnis lithium project.

A few months back RAS kicked off a two hole diamond drill program targeting a set of outcropping pegmatites where historic drilling had hit lithium grades of 0.37%.

The plan for RAS was to drill across the outcrop and see if the pegmatites extend underground AND whether or not they contain spodumene bearing pegmatites (lithium).

Today the company confirmed:

  1. 1st drillhole - The company hit ~56m of pegmatites across three distinct zones.
  2. 2nd drillhole - The company hit ~4 m of pegmatites across two zones.

Assays from the program are now pending.

After the results are in, RAS will look to start preparing for a follow up RC drill program.
